Founded in 2005 by growers and advocates

Headquartered in Hatch, NM — Representing New Mexico’s signature “Red and Green” all across the state
In 2005 the New Mexico Chile Association was founded by three family owned companies with a deep and long history with New Mexico chile. The principals of these three companies were alarmed by the decline in the New Mexico chile industry and formed the association to ensure New Mexico's chile culture and vital economic impact continued in perpetuity. The NMCA partners with NMSU and is supported by the legislature and the NMDA with funding. Additionally, the association id funded by membership dues.
